How long we keep calls and chats

  1. In your dashboard, open “Settings”. (On a phone, tap the menu button at the top left first.)
  2. Find “Your data”.
  3. Under “Keep calls and chats for”, pick 30 days, 90 days, 1 year or “Until I delete them”, and tap “Save”.

Older calls and chats, with their recordings, transcripts and summaries, are deleted automatically once a day. Your contacts and appointments are kept. If you pick a shorter time, older ones are deleted for good at the next daily clean-up, so download first if you might need them.

Download all your data

  1. In “Settings”, under “Your data”, tap “Prepare my download”.
  2. We email you a link when it's ready, usually within a few minutes.
  3. Tap “Download my data”. For your security the link works for a limited time; tap “Prepare a fresh copy” for a new one.

You get a ZIP file with spreadsheets of your contacts, appointments, calls and chats (with summaries and transcripts). Call recordings aren't included; play them in your dashboard. To download just some calls, use the spreadsheet download on “Calls & chats”.

Delete one call or chat

  1. Open the call or chat in “Calls & chats”.
  2. Tap “Delete”, then “Delete for good”.

The transcript and recording are removed for good. This can't be undone.

Delete a customer

  1. Open them in “Contacts”.
  2. Tap “Delete”, then “Delete for good”.

This removes their details and all their calls and chats, including recordings. Their appointments stay on your schedule without their name.

Delete your whole business

  1. In “Settings”, find “Delete my business” (only the owner sees it).
  2. Tap “Delete my business”.
  3. Type your business name to confirm, and tap “Delete for good”.
  • Your subscription is cancelled (any extra minutes you already used are billed one last time).
  • Your phone numbers are released, so calls to them stop reaching your receptionist.
  • Your receptionist, every call and chat with its recording and transcript, and your customers and appointments are deleted.
  • Connected calendars are disconnected and everyone loses access to the business.
  • It usually finishes within a few minutes, and we email you when it's done. It can't be undone.

What callers and visitors are told

  • Every call includes a short notice that the caller is talking to a virtual assistant and that the call is transcribed, and recorded if recording is on. You can't turn it off.
  • You can turn call recording off on the “Behavior” tab (“Record calls”).
  • Every website chat shows a notice that it's an AI assistant and that chats are saved.

Who can see what

In “Settings”, under “Team”, owners and admins can change settings; members can view calls, chats and bookings. Only owners and admins can delete calls and contacts or download data.
