What it does

Your receptionist looks at the free times on your Google Calendar, only offers those, and puts each booking on your calendar while the caller is still on the line.

How to connect

  1. In your dashboard, tap “Assistants” and open your assistant.
  2. Open the “Connections” tab.
  3. Under “Google Calendar”, tap “Connect Google Calendar”.
  4. Sign in to Google and allow access.
  5. You come back to the dashboard with “Google Calendar connected. Your assistant now books real times on it.”

You can also connect it on the last step of setup. Connecting switches your receptionist to “Book real times on my calendar” for you.

What gets sent

  • The booking's title: the customer's name and the service, for example “Sam Lee – Haircut”.
  • Their phone number, and their email if they gave one.
  • Their answers to the questions you set on the “Behavior” tab, and any notes.
  • A line saying it was booked by your AI receptionist, by phone call or website chat.

What happens on a call

  • Your assistant checks your real openings before it offers a time, and only offers times that are free.
  • When the caller picks a time, it books it straight away and tells them it's booked.
  • If the caller gives an email address, they also get a confirmation email.
  • Callers can ring back to move or cancel a booking. Your assistant finds it by their phone number and name, and you get an alert about the change.
  • You get an email about every new booking (set the addresses on the “Behavior” tab, under “Notifications & recording”).

Disconnect

Tap “Disconnect” under “Google Calendar”. Bookings already on your calendar stay there. Until you connect a calendar again, your receptionist saves new bookings as requests for you to confirm.
