What it does
Your receptionist checks the free times on your Outlook calendar, only offers those, and adds each booking to it while the caller is on the line.
How to connect
- In your dashboard, tap “Assistants” and open your assistant.
- Open the “Connections” tab.
- Under “Outlook Calendar”, tap “Connect Outlook Calendar”.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account and allow access.
- You come back to the dashboard with “Outlook Calendar connected. Your assistant now books real times on it.”
What gets sent
- The booking's title: the customer's name and the service, for example “Sam Lee – Haircut”.
- Their phone number, and their email if they gave one.
- Their answers to the questions you set on the “Behavior” tab, and any notes.
- A line saying it was booked by your AI receptionist, by phone call or website chat.
What happens on a call
- Your assistant checks your real openings before it offers a time, and only offers times that are free.
- When the caller picks a time, it books it straight away and tells them it's booked.
- If the caller gives an email address, they also get a confirmation email.
- Callers can ring back to move or cancel a booking. Your assistant finds it by their phone number and name, and you get an alert about the change.
- You get an email about every new booking (set the addresses on the “Behavior” tab, under “Notifications & recording”).
Disconnect
Tap “Disconnect” under “Outlook Calendar”. Bookings already on your calendar stay there. Until you connect a calendar again, your receptionist saves new bookings as requests for you to confirm.
