Salesforce

After every call or chat, your receptionist finds the contact or lead in Salesforce (or creates a lead) and logs the conversation as a completed task.

How to connect

  1. In your dashboard, open “Settings”. (On a phone, tap the menu button at the top left first.)
  2. Find “Your CRM”, then Salesforce, and tap “Connect Salesforce”.
  3. Sign in to Salesforce and allow access.
  4. You come back to Settings with “Salesforce connected”.

Only owners and admins of the business can connect or disconnect apps. Members can see them but not change them.

What gets sent

  • We look for a contact, then an open lead, with the same phone number, then the same email.
  • If there's none, we create a lead with their name, phone and email, Company “Not provided”, Rating Hot, Warm or Cold, and Lead Source “Phone Inquiry” (calls) or “Web” (chats). Someone who gave no name is saved as “Caller” with the last 4 digits of their number.
  • If we find an open lead, we update its Rating to the latest score.
  • A completed task, “Phone call with AI receptionist” or “Website chat with AI receptionist”, with the lead score and reason, the result and the summary. Hot leads get High priority, and calls include how long they were.

What isn't sent

  • Calls and chats with no phone number or email.
  • Anything scored “Not a lead”, and spam.
  • Test calls and test chats from your dashboard are never sent.

Reconnect or disconnect

  • If the row says “Needs attention”, it shows what went wrong in plain words. Press “Reconnect” (or change the key) to fix it.
  • To stop, press “Disconnect” and confirm. New calls and chats won't be sent to Salesforce any more. Nothing already in Salesforce is deleted.
